Job description

Investigo Finance are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for an SME client based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Purchase Ledger Clerks, Milton keynes you will report into the Financial Controller ensuring all transactions are processed in line with company standards. key duties to include:

  • Responsible for the processing of purchase invoices onto the Sage line 50 software
  • To ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is maintained while producing the daily invoice runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with any discrepancies.
  • Process weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Resolve supplier queries
  • Matching, entering and coding of invoices.

Ad hoc duties to include:

  • Stock control and produce reports on variances working closely with warehouse/ audit
  • Pricing- track client spend/ monitoring costs in excel

The Profile

  • Previous accounts payable/ purchase ledger experience
  • Numerate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communicator both verbally and via email.
  • Hard-working with a can-do attitude.
  • Good attention to detail.

The Salary

£22,000 - £24,000 plus full benefits package and free on site parking
