TITLE:

R&D Project Leader - Skin Biology - full-time, permanent

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Play a key role in the company's growth by supporting external collaborations and partnerships and developing the methods and tests for this organization's products.

• Conduct independent and lead innovative projects (plan and execute experiments) in a startup environment.
• Develop internal tests in DNA damage, skin permeation, polymer-skin interface interactions areas to characterize and master product quality
• Design and execute projects, including the preparation of data analysis and interpretation summaries, technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality/safety as well as the standards of laboratory best practices.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• French or EU Citizens
• A PhD in skin biology, molecular biology, cell biology. 5 or 7 + year experience is preferred.
• Experience in a renown academic lab with significant publications as first author in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals.
• Solid working knowledge of skin biology, hands-on experience in current techniques including in-vitro assays and models including in vitro skin equivalents and skin explants is required.
• Solid working knowledge in immunohistochemistry, fluorescence imaging analysis, FACS
• Good background in skin biochemistry
• Experience in analytics (HPLC) and nanoparticle topical formulation are a plus.
• Ability to independently manage technical projects.
