Regional Finance Director

Our clients a rapidly growing and evolving business are currently recruiting for a Regional Finance Director to join them. The role will lead a large team during a time of transition. In the initial 6-9 months there will be several key strategic changes and the role will need to develop and lead the finance team to ensure a continued strong service and the ability to deliver enhancements.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high performing team which can support the company's strategic plan.
• Responsible for delivery of the regional financial accounting activities ensuring the flow of information to and from the Shared Service center.
• Ensure delivery of month, quarter and year end reporting including the UK and European statutory account preparation.
• Provide the key point of contact for Head office on all reporting requirements
• Provision of board report pack and analytics
• Be the primary point of contact for the external auditors and tax advisers
• Review and sign off for the payroll process
• Liaise with head office and external tax advisers to ensure all tax aspects are correctly accounted and reported
• Identify processes and procedures for improvement and efficiency gains.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong team management skills, having managed teams of 10 + coupled with a strong reporting background. A previous role with an international remit would also be essential for the position.
