Regulatory Reporting Accountant - Retail Banking - £65,000 - £75,000

An UK based retail bank with an international presence is currently looking to bolster their prudential regulation team by hiring a liquidity specialist into an all-round regulatory role.

This is a role which will also encompass a significant amount of change management and automation. As the nature of a regulatory team evolves, the need for efficiency and value-add reporting increases meaning any opportunity to reduce tie spent on manual processes is key.

Regulatory Reporting Accountant - Key Responsibilities:

• Complete regular regulatory reporting returns to relevant bodies including PRA, EBA and the Bank of England
• Identify areas for process improvements within the department
• Automating and making key changes to systems to improve reporting
• Involvement in FINREP, COREP, Bank of England and PRA reporting
• Play a key role in liquidity reporting inc. NSFR, LCR, PRA110 reporting and support colleagues in the sharing of knowledge in liquidity.

You will be an experienced regulatory accountant who has had hands-on reporting experience within either an investment or retail banking business. You'll have a sound understanding of core finance and regulatory control processes, as well as significant exposure to PRA/EBA/BOE.

Advanced Excel skills are a must for this role - that means an ability to work with complex spreadsheets and building macros. Access and SQL skills would also be important as well as some knowledge of Tableau.

Qualified or part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite for this role.
