Location: Fully Remote

Salary: £65,000-£70,000

Job Description

A market leading software house in Nottingham are looking to bring on a Software Development Manager who will be leading the software development function with their fast growing technology team. You will be reporting directly into the Head of Development, where you will be involved with supercharging their technology plans over the next 3 years. This role would suit somebody who wants to take the next step in their career and have a mix of management responsibilities, while maintaining their existing skills in hands on .NET development. The next 3 years are highly exciting where you will be working and building an exciting product and application tech roadmap, from greenfield developments to reinvigorate the platforms, changes, and a number of feature enhancements, all utilising a modern, cloud-based SaaS (Azure) technology stack.

You will be involved with this partner as a key hands on Software Development Manager where you will be working on the modernisation of several platforms, applications, and business/customer critical systems, this will involve everything from minor enhancements to full-scale application rebuilds to better leverage the tech for customers and make what they do even more accessible to customers. This partner is passionate about high quality software development, where you will be central with working with the newest technology and develop new ways of working. You will be involved with building out your own software development team while leading an instrumental change in their software development function. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of market leading software. This role will enable you to have the opportunity to work with cloud technologies and take your personal development to the next level.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Remote Software Development Manager will have the following skills

• Experience line managing Software Developers and Testers
• Experience in architecting software solutions
• C#
• Microsoft Azure
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience mentoring junior developers
