Reporting/Excel Analyst - MS Excel

Location & Duration: Fully remote contract with occasional travel to Cambridge, no more than once per month - 3-month duration

Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - to £300 per day

An Investigo partner are looking to engage a Reporting/Excel Analyst to help to set up a number of key business reports and excel reports that will aid the wider business in their growth. In this role we're looking for strong Microsoft Excel skills and someone who can tale data in a raw form and produce sophisticated business intelligence reports and engage with business stakeholders in commercial and sales.

You will:

• Build the suite of reports in Microsoft Excel using data extracted from the business ERP application
• Automate the process of data extraction and data population for Excel reporting
• Build a standard graphics package or reporting tool to monitor trends
• Support various businesses stakeholders in developing new reporting capability, mainly sales, marketing and commercial

This role will work on a project outside of BAU and we have confirmed this role is outside IR35 - this is a stand-alone role, and this consultant must be capable of educating business stakeholders in best practice reporting as well as promote an automated reports culture where upon leaving this is a replicable process.

Skills we need:

• In depth and strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business reporting to aid business growth
• Experience producing macros and working with large data sets in Microsoft Excel
• Experience engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders and helping them to understand how to use reporting tools in a much more sophisticated way
• The ability to leave behind a replicable process for producing reports within an ERP system
• Any experience working with IFS (ERP) or hands-on SQL skills (specifically data extraction) would be hugely beneficial

This is an outside IR35 engagement with a day rate on offer of up to £300 per day. Initial contract duration will be 3 months, the process will be submissions no later than Monday 6th December with interviews taking place in the following days and the ideal candidate will be able to start during December - therefore an immediate start is preferred.
