Resourcing and HR Services Business Partner

6 month initial fixed-term contract

Up to £60,316 per annum (including LWA)

1 day per week on site in London

I am delighted to be partnering this arms-length body in their search for an interim Resourcing HR Services Business Partner. This role is immediately available and will be offered initially on a 6 month FTC, with the view to possibly extend or go permanent.

This is an exciting time to join this organisation as they embark on a period of growth. Currently sitting at 500 staff, they are looking to grow by 100% in the next 12-18 months.

The Opportunity

The Resourcing and HR Services Business Partner oversees the management and operational delivery of recruitment, HR Shared Services and payroll. This includes developing and driving delivery of people strategy, organisational effectiveness, developing brand, organisational design and managing and implementing change, as well as leading specific people change projects in the business and ensuring the HR function has the capability required to deliver business priorities.

The Resourcing and HR Services Business Partner will deliver a comprehensive, professional and high quality HR service to support the delivery of the agreed business plan. To fully understand the business and support in developing the culture and improving service quality to develop a high performing customer focused workforce. There is a need for this post holder to work closely with the Lead for HR and other OD colleagues in order to work seamlessly across both areas of HR&OD.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of HR&OD, the post holder will ensure the provision of professional customer-focused resourcing advice, coaching and solutions that support the business in the finding the best candidates. In addition, will inform plans in connection with business strategy and OD priorities that effect knowledge based solutions, different ways of working and soft skills development arising from ER cases or common people themes. Lead on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda for recruitment and HR services, reporting for Board, senior execs any other reports required.

Main duties and deliverables

  • To ensure that the Recruitment & HR Services team is delivering a high quality, efficient recruitment, and pay and employee administrative service for all staff groups across the
  • Work as part of the HR&OD senior management team to develop, implement and monitor all aspects of HR&OD
  • Support the development and delivery of a professional Resourcing and HR Services Business Partnering service across all
  • Ensure that the operational and transformational Human Resources services are aligned with departments and promote partnership working. To take a corporate role in driving the agenda forward, working in partnership with managers, staff side representative, staff and other partners in ensuring that the organisation is an employer of choice and adopting excellent employment
  • To deputise for the Deputy Head of HR & OD as
  • Work with managers to influence and develop strategic service
  • Manage and develop partnership working with trade union representatives and managers to deliver a consistent
  • Monitor and manage externally provided services/contracts including occupational health services and the organisation's payroll
  • To oversee the recruitment of all Very Senior Manager (VSM) processes up to and including Chief Executive and Board Members including the requirement to undertake Fit and Proper Persons Checks (FPPC).

Essential experience required

  • Management of staff
  • Training and developing managers across the organisation
  • Experience of using and implementing HR information systems, (ESR, NHS jobs) including analysis and interpretation of statistical information and the ability to present it in an accessible manner to support decision making
  • Experience of designing assessment centres, including competency based selection and sourcing psychometric testing
  • Experience of developing a resourcing toolkit to support managers and leaders find the best candidates
