Senior Project Manager - Data Transformation - Payments

Payments / Financial Services

London (2 days per week office based)

£75,000 - £85,000 basic + benefits

12 month fixed term contract

Our leading payments client are undergoing a data collection / gathering exercise with an external body to understand where it is with legacy data.

As part of this process they need a Senior Project Manager to lead Data Transformation programmes across the various parts of the organisation centring around; data governance, archiving, 3rd party supplier management & storage.

The Project Manager will need to be business focused with the ability to work alongside technical data SME's who will work the requirements set by the PM.

The business are looking for a candidate from the following background:

  • Project management - business facing
  • Data projects to include setting up data governance processes
  • Financial Services - ideally payments or Retail Banking

The role will involve:

  • Working with a 3rd party on the assessment of data & collection
  • Categorising data - archiving OR purging
  • Setting up & delivering a data governance framework
  • Working with technical data SME's who will support the PM

Post the completion of this project there will be a further company wide programme that involves a complete revamp of their MI framework & reporting that the successful candidate could easily roll into. The company is growing presently & further opportunities may become available for the successful candidate.
