Sanctions Officer - VP

A large global bank is looking for a sanctions officer to sit within their financial crime team in London. You will be part of a team which does both policy and advisory and is considered to be a crucial part of the financial crime team.

To do this role you must:

• You will support with the management and maintenance of the global sanctions framework including ensuring sanctions related policies, procedures & guidance documents are up to date.
• You will provide additional support in relation to the annual risk assessment process and conduct sanctions risk analysis
• Reviewing both centralised and de-centralised sanctions controls on a periodic basis to ensure these meet current regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in economic sanctions compliance working in an equivalent financial services institution.
• You will have strong OFAC, EU & UK sanctions knowledge and the ability to analyse and interpret regulatory and technical information
• 3 + years in financial crime advisory - ideally in sanctions
