Job description: SAP Functional Support Lead

Role objectives
As SAP functional support lead you will be required to perform 2nd and 3rd line support to the business. Working with the SAP team and business you will be required to investigate issues, identify solutions and where applicable, provide relevant documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse support issues logged with the IT Support Tool
• Take ownership of issue investigation and resolution
• Functional expert with the ability to support the business
• Analysis and optimisation of business processes in SAP ECC 6.0
• Work with, and empower key users and users in various SAP modules
• Knowledge transfer where appropriate
• Interface function between IT and the specialist departments in Europe
• Carrying out training for users as well as documentation
• Further development of applications when required
• Support business projects

Profile:

• Training in IT business administration or comparable training
• At least 3 years of SAP experience in application support (focus on the modules PM and ideally ETM, PP is preferable)
• Open to change (upcoming ERP-change in approx.3 years)
• Hands on practical approach to problem solving and issue resolution
• Clear understanding of driving value to the business
• Proven track record of delivering solutions at all levels with an organisation
• Understanding of the SAP Development cycle
• Customizing and / or ABAP knowledge
• Independent and structured way of working
• Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills in German and English
• Team Player
