Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP Comms Manager to join our customer on an initial 12 month contract.

This role supports the communication across the business for the second phase of the programme across all units as part of this radical transformation programme.

The complex and multifaceted nature of this operating modal change requires the candidate to hold solid communications experience in transformation programmes, ideally SAP for finance or procurement.

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and deliver the comms efforts for Phase II alongside a small comms team of peers.
  • Create and own the comms plan working with Change, Training and Business Readiness to ensure employees and key stakeholders are informed of the right things at the right time.
  • Partner with other change and comms people on the programme to give consistent and clear messaging.
  • Ensure alignment of all change management communications to strategic plan and corporate messages.
  • Agree key messages with executive stakeholders as appropriate and ensure these are built into communications planning with consistency and strategic context across programmes and projects.
  • Engage with BAU Internal Communications to ensure alignment of comms solutions to ensure they take account of BAU comms and other programme, and are on-brand.
  • Be responsible for building and maintaining strong senior manager relationships both internally within the programme with delivery and business adoption leads and externally as applicable. Building on existing networks and develop relevant contacts throughout the organisation.
  • Have significant, diverse experience in communications on business transformation teams.
  • Be able to employ a range of methodologies and toolkits as appropriate, Comms Manager with 5+ years of experience working within a Change Management function of a large organisation, supporting business critical projects.
