SAP RAR Consultant

Investigo have been retained to search and recruit for a specialist SAP RAR consultant on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Cambridgeshire, applicants will be required to be on site once the workforce returns to work.
Our client are looking for a knowledgeable revenue specialist who can speak confidently using revenue terms; someone who is self-motivated, with strong organisational and analytical skills and who always asks how they can help.
They're looking for someone who can work with us to take the lead on:

• Interpreting sophisticated revenue requirements into configuration for the project team
• Providing guidance and support on standard approaches to configuring SAP RAR
• Supporting implementation team members in devising functional and user acceptance testing approaches and scripts
• Analysing existing RAR contracts in the legacy RAR system to prepare for and support data migration
• Supporting data cleansing and reconciliation activities to give confidence to finance team

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience of multiple implementations of both the S/4 version and previous versions of SAP RAR (revenue accounting and reporting) - formal certification preferred
• Deep knowledge of both ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue standards (accounting qualifications preferred)
• Knowledge and understanding of how SAP RAR integrates with other systems, including SAP SD (sales and distribution) and SFDC (Salesforce)
• SAP RAR configuration skills
• Data analysis and data cleansing experience for revenue contracts
• Unit, functional and acceptance testing design
• Strong presentation and requirement elicitation ability
• Capable of performing reconciliations of financials
• Ability to tailor approach and style when interacting with others
