SAP Release Manager

Our client who are implementing S/4HANA requires an SAP Release Manager to join their new SAP CoE based at their offices in Greater London on a permanent engagement.

Scope;

To plan, schedule and manage the movement of releases from test to production in a way which ensures the integrity of the production environment and the correctness of released components.

Responsibilities

Establishing, maintaining and continually improving the release strategies and change management procedures.

Developing overall release plans, (from minor break fix changes to major programme updates) working as required with in-country key stakeholders, to prioritise and sequence release packages.

Defining and documenting the release recommendation for each release and/or change to production. Includes release scope, schedule, deliverables, and roll back plan.

Skills and Experience

Current Industry best practice in IT/SAP release management

Process execution in Solman 7.2

ITIL knowledge with expertise in system transition and testing

Managing SAP release with multiple Legacy environments

Ability to set and maintain high compliance and standards

Managing change management tools and processes (Solman 7.2, TopDesk, JIRA)

Salary - £75,000 - £90,000 - depending on experience (plus benefits package)

Location - South West of London

Travel - Some European Travel
