SAP S2P/Ariba Process Lead - 6 month contract

Our client requires a SAP S2P/Ariba Process Lead to be based at their offices in London (remote initially) on a 6 month contract.

Your role and responsibilities

The Global Source to Pay Process plays a pivotal role in driving the benefit and value by transforming this process. The role is to support the Global S2P Process Owner for our global Finance and Procurement transformation programme. Leading process implementation, improvement and governance. The programme will replace a large part of our Finance systems across the client worldwide and includes the implementation of Ariba and SAP S/4HANA.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the relationships necessary to implement the Ariba Contracting deliverables both across the business and with transformation partner teams.
  • Support the implementation of Ariba Buying deliverables across the business
  • Define and own detailed plans to meet programme and transformation milestones, escalating risks and issues and important decisions
  • Lead process walkthroughs to ensure business understanding and drive adoption of the SAP solution
  • Point of contact for any process related change requests or enhancements
  • Support testing & quality management review of the solution design
  • Work with colleagues to define and agree the cut over and business readiness plans
  • Ensuring training material, process documentation and other supporting material are developed and maintained

  • Must have demonstrable knowledge and expertise of design and implementation of Ariba, ideally including S/4 Hana
  • Experience of working in organisations with variety of procurement channels to multiple business units across multiple geographies
  • Strong and collaborative working approach with a diverse group of stakeholders in multiple locations
  • Motivating cross functional teams to successful delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, writing, facilitation, collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a complex matrix organisation with a global scope
