SAP OTC Consultant - 3 Months - London - S/4HANA.

My client based in Central London are looking for an SAP SD OTC Consultant on a 3 month initial contract, starting in the next 2/3 weeks. This will be joining a Finance Transformation programme underpinned by SAP S/4HANA.

The role of the OTC Finance Transformation Specialist includes, understanding how the end to end OTC process works, ensuring all OTC processes are fit for purpose functionally (S/4HANA) and operationally, reviewing and assisting in the construction of Training courses, creating and deploying Procedures, Guidelines and Quick Reference Guides. Rolling out the final end to end solution for OTC.

You must have a knowledge of ECC6 and ideally S/4HANA with specific knowledge in the Sales and Distribution (SD) functions including Sales Contract and Billing. Due to the high level of stakeholder interaction required of this role, successful candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate agility to respond quickly in a rapidly changing business environment. The successful candidate will also possess analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to influence teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed knowledge of the full OTC cycle including Accounts Receivable
  • Build and maintain an understanding of the clients core business processes and practices
  • Develop and maintain documentation re standards, guidelines and QRG's
  • Assist in writing and reviewing OTC Training courses
  • Consult with GPO to identify the key document requirements
  • Consult with Technical Teams to ensure that the key functional elements for each process are captured
  • Cross reference to Level 4 process maps to ensure all documents are synchronised
  • Understand where risks and controls are critical and feed into the Financial Controls Framework

Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:

  • A detailed knowledge of OTC processes
  • Strong document writing skills/process mapping
  • Strong communicator
  • Preference for qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Project and change management capability
