Solution Architect - Supply Chain

Purpose

The Supply Chain and S2P Solution Architect in partnership with our , Solution Architect , SI partner and SAP will be responsible for designing our global SC & S2P SAP template, and regional localisations for each Wave of the roll-out, following a 'Fit to Standard' approach. He/she will own the end to end SAP solution, and chair the Design Authority, ensuring the right governance is in place to effectively manage key design decisions, solution scope and adherence to best practice, and SAP standards. This role will require excellent SAP technical skills across a wide portfolio of the latest SAP Cloud products, and strong experience of delivering global SAP transformation programs.

Scope

Will involve international travel and flexibility in working hours aligned with a global role.

Key Accountabilities

• Ownership of the end-to-end SC& S2P solution design; defining solutions that are fit for purpose in terms of strategic alignment, quality, cost and time, and adhere to target architecture
• Embed user-centric "design-thinking" principles, optimising UX design standards and coaching the wider team in how to apply these principles
• Lead the 'fit-to-standard' design process to establish a 'Global Template' that meets the needs of all our businesses and lead the business design validation and acceptance process
• Manage localisations and protect the 'Global Template' as the solution is rolled-out through multiple deployment Waves
• Robustly challenge any deviations from SAP standard, best practice solutions and manage the FRICEW inventory
• QA/approve technical deliverables from internal teams, our SI partner and other external third parties
• Contribute and support the GPO to define 'End-to-End' business scenarios to be used during design, the solution validation process and to feed into test scenario scoping
• Input into the Design Authority governance forum, owning SC & S2P
