Investigo have partnered with a well-known PharmaTech software house with offices across the UK who are looking to rebuild and develop a critical application and are hiring a Scrum Master to drive product and application delivery. This role will work on a project outside of BAU and will play a pivotal role in developing a new to market product that handles huge volumes of data and tracking. To do this you'll manage an Agile/Scrum team made up of developers, testers and a product owner.

What to expect:

  • Ensure the consistent, reliable, and robust delivery within delivery team using Agile/Scrum principles and practices, whilst promoting Scrum values.
  • Remove blockers to successful delivery and act as a buffer for the teams, removing distractions to delivery and interference from internal and external sources/stakeholders.
  • Facilitate organisation and Scrum ceremonies (Story Time, Sprint Planning and Retrospectives, etc) in an engaging way.
  • Build internal stakeholder relationships outside of your own delivery team to aid the wider teams, Product, Data, Development and QA teams.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across the business to ensure clarity of brief and delivery and encourage collaboration both internally in the team and externally with stakeholders.

What we need:

  • Previous and recent experience managing Scrum teams.
  • Demonstrable delivery experience of complex online, web and digital products across multiple platforms and technologies with a thorough understanding of the full development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work with and collaborate across the business with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience of Agile Software Development & Testing methods for deployment in SaaS/PaaS environments, as well as experience of Agile planning, tracking and management software, e.g. Jira.
  • Experienced working with a wide variety of technologies and on diverse problems.

Any previous hands-on development experience in any programming language would be hugely beneficial.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £55,000 p/a plus a range of benefits inc. flexible/remote working, great holidays, pension, health, and a variety of benefits that you're able to build around you. This role can be worked in a hybrid fashion from anywhere in the UK, with the ideal candidate spending a couple of days a month onsite in Cambridge; this is however not essential.
