Job description

I am in partnership with an independent Medical Education agency in New Jersey, who are seeking a positive and collaborative Senior Account Manager to develop one of their most successful and long standing brands! This is a brand new position due to growth and success of existing accounts.

Whilst you will receive brand related training , you must have experience in medical education such as slide decks, advisory boards, speaker training, symposia and content development. This account has substantial opportunity for growth, you really would be set up for success! My client have a fantastic culture and with loads of new business wins , as well as advancements on existing business

THE ROLE:

- Responsible for client/agency strategic partnerships, while driving team performance and development

- Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape to prove senior level strategic insights. Engage with senior level clients and continue an ongoing relationship development. Identify opportunities for account growth

- Maintains ongoing positive client relationship, anticipates client needs, and represents the agency on day-to-day client activities

- Collaborates with senior medical lead on brand tactics, brand content, and strategic planning

- Liaises with client stakeholders, KOLs, and client agency partners; collaborates with or leads the interactions

- Work closely with the Account Director on the overall status of assigned accounts, including but not limited to client relationships, project financials, and personnel issues/progress; proactively flags need for strategic/senior-level support

REQUIREMENTS:

-4-6 year's experience within a promotional medical education/medical communicaitons agency in a program/account capacity

- Bachelor's Degree

- Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking strong understanding of brand strategy and ability to read clients feedback and identify opportunities for brand/account growth

- Effective leadership skills, willingness to manage and mentor junior team members

- Willingness to travel for programs and client locations for meetings as required

Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, advance proficiency in PowerPoint.

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills ability to clearly communicate in an articulate, straightforward and engaging manner
