Job description

Investigo are recruiting for a 12-month + Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner FTC for a multinational company based in central London, who are going through an exciting growth period.

The pro rata annual salary dictates £75,000- £90,000.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key finance interface with the Commercial Director and Commercial team to support the business Aspiration should be to act as the "go to" support
  • Promote key business decision metrics
  • Support the Commercial team in respect of management of their financial budgets and outlooks, including sales targets, profitability metric, working capital management and associated financial risk
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of all key areas of the business and its underlying success drivers
  • Provide support to the Commercial team on key decisions including new business tenders, customer renewals, new route analysis
  • Provide support to the business in respect to entering into, managing, renegotiating or terminating commercial contracts
  • Provide support to the business where they can add value in respect of any matters arising from day to day management of operations
  • Develop scenario models to deliver contingency planning in case of emergency or adverse conditions, including deviation planning
  • Liaise closely with finance team to ensure costing information used for pricing or profitability analysis is accurate and optimal
  • Work in close partnership with the budget holders and the regional FP&A team to support the production of accurate, timely and comprehensive annual budgets, quarterly re-forecasts and strategic plans as required
  • Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible

Role requirements

  • Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE gained in a similar financial role in industry
  • Strong leadership capability in order to influence financial insight to key business stakeholders
  • Determined and assertive, prepared to get into the detail understand the business cost drivers
  • The ability to analyse and present on complex matters, having implemented best practice across your career and worked in large complex businesses
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build healthy working relationship with business stakeholders and interact effectively with all levels of staff across the UK/Europe region
  • Highly effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously, prioritising workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong Data analytical skills (utilising financial, Microsoft and data management systems)
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working and will have a positive approach to challenges, thinking creatively to solve problems
