Job description

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a Milton Keynes based multi-site business with their recruitment of a Senior Commercial Reporting Analyst.


The Senior Commercial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of timely, consistent, and insightful reporting of financial and non-financial information to senior stakeholders across the business. The role holder should be commercially curious with the ability to implement reporting improvements quickly and efficiently. The Group are about to start on a project to introduce a Business Intelligence platform, so experience of design and implementation of this is required to be successful in your application.


Key Duties include:

  • Sole ownership of producing and delivering weekly trading reports across all areas of the Group in a timely fashion while ensuring data integrity is of the highest quality
  • Creating, maintaining and developing dashboard reporting including adding insight on financial and non-financial information
  • Owning the set up and maintenance of internal reporting systems and work with the 3rd party provider to deliver improvements as required
  • Preparation of core reporting slides for Monthly Board reports which including insightful and meaningful commentary
  • Owning the reporting and performance management of key revenue and gross margin lines which includes being the primary contact for any ad hoc queries
  • Input into high level rolling forecasts and the annual Budget process, being able to re-build and update financials models and explain movements to all members of the senior team
  • Responsible for delivery of accurate trading information used externally to update our shareholders on our performance
  • Lead and own the implementation of a new Business intelligence platform across the group including management of a third-party provider


Our Client is offering a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits, and they operate a hybrid way of working (3 days in office and 2 days WFH)
