Senior Compliance Manager - Alternative Investments - Permanent

Key responsibilities:

* Take on the SMF16/17 for the firm

Maintenance and development of the Group Compliance Manual and risk and compliance monitoring programme;

* Working with key stakeholders to deal with compliance-related issues;

* Resolving matters such as rule breaches, complaints, etc and overseeing the Compliance Associate in maintaining all such logs;

* Providing advice to assist the business in understanding and interpreting the relevant rules and requirements;

* Monitoring regulatory developments, reacting to those that may affect the business and updating the key stakeholders;

Successful candidates will have:

* Strong technical skills, sound knowledge of the FCA handbook and compliance framework

* Experience working with key stakeholders to deal with compliance-related issues;

* Strong communication skills in particular when establishing and managing senior stakeholder relationships

* A commercially awareness and be solutions oriented and innovative in their approach to problem solving
