Senior Development Manager - Outer Western Home Counties - £80,000 - £100,000
Our client
Our client owns and operates multiple luxury retail centres throughout various international locations and has a consistent record of year on year growth.
The Opportunity
This is a new appointment within the organisation's Development team as the number 2 under the Development Director. The role encompasses a healthy mixture of tactical and strategic engagement with the business and it's clients; to which, it will be your responsibility to outline and deliver a comprehensive and cohesive Property service that is both commercially viable and engaging for their clients.
The Role
- Portfolio Management - managing assets, including all planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety, rent reviews, landlord/tenant relationships, lease management
- Project Management - managing small development projects/store enhancements and working with PM team to ensure delivery within budget and timescale
- Full understanding of financials including development financials, particularly Argus Investor and Developer
- Overseeing the budgeting and implementation of CAPEX budget
- Assist with introduction of new management systems to help enhance and maximise value of the asset
- Drive continuous improvement in the property management processes
- Support investment, asset management and development activities
- Prepare and present monthly reports, plans and working drawings and presenting to the Board
The Person
- Detailed and varied experience in Real Estate, ideally holding a professional qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. CIOB, MRICS, MWIFM or something akin)
- Detailed knowledge of all Associated Health and Safety Acts
- Experience in managing a high-performing team and assisting employee growth
- Strong proficiency in managing the financials of the business
- Comfortable and skilled in dealing with key stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of Tenant and Landlord legislation
