Client-side, Senior Facilities Services Manager - London, UK

In-house opportunity as the no.2 in the Facilities department for a luxury globally-recognised brand.

The Brief

One of the world's most renowned luxury retailers is looking to expand their in-house FM team by hiring the 2nd in command in the department as the Senior Facilities Services Manager. This role will be overseeing reactive requirements as a result of a £300m capital investment scheme to modernise and transform the estate.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the in-house team of cleaners, fabric maintenance, plumbing, elevation managers etc.
  • Effectively delegating reactive requirements
  • Outlining best practice and procedure for the department
  • Effective team management and reporting
  • Structurally ensuring rapid response times and improving turnaround times for issues
  • Improving the reporting system for maintenance issues
  • Working with the stakeholders to understand business needs
  • Working in tandem with Store Development to deliver best solutions to support the capital investment scheme

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Over 8 years' experience in relevant roles
  • Ideally retail industry experience or something similar
  • Team and stakeholder management capability
  • Experience in high pressure industries
  • Facilities qualifications with ideally experience in both soft & hard services
