Senior Finance Analyst

Senior Finance Analyst | London | £50,000 - £60,000

A market leading, retailer is looking to hire a finance analyst to join their central London team on an exciting new project.

The finance analyst will support the commercial finance team in delivering timely and actionable insights category leads through detailed analysis of the financial performance as well as assisting with the data validation testing to deliver the successful implementation of the new system

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the data testing completion and sign-off of financial reconciliations, this includes but is not limited to, stock reconciliation, customer deposits, cash reports etc.

• Understand cross-team business processes and requirements documentation in-flight to understand the impacts and key data validation testing requirements
• Perform data validation testing of the solutions and ensure all needs are met from a BAU perspective ahead of project go live

Looking to speak to candidates who are:

• Qualified accountant (preferably CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Previous systems implementation
• Proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Advanced skills in Excel
• High standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data
• Able to organise own work and to take initiative
• Able to determine insightful observations from detail for management attention
• Commercially aware
• Good communication and influencing skills
