Senior Finance Analyst

A leading International Law firm based in the City of London is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst position to support the Head of Commercial Finance. The role will be responsible for supporting the Practice area in regards to budgeting & forecasting, business case development and ad hoc Projects.

Key responsibilities include;

• To produce analysis to help maximise profitability across the London group.
• Detailed analysis around realisation, fee earner utilisation and working capital
• The role requires advanced excel skills to summarise and analyse large sets of data
• To produce summary P&Ls and profitability of the department
• Business case development for future expansion
• Produce the annual budget for the department with ongoing monthly forecasts
• Work closely with the central Finance team on a monthly basis.

The successful candidate;

• Qualified Accountant
• Experience ideally from with Legal or Professional Services
• Strong analytical capability and Excel skills
• Communication skills as you are dealing up to Partner level
• Pro-active attitude.
