Senior Financial Accountant

Investigo are delighted to be supporting a growing Private Equity backed e-commerce business with their recruitment of a Senior Financial Accountant, to be based at their office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

The role of Senior Financial Accountant will be a key role within this small finance team of 4, and their key duties will include:

• Assisting with the production of the financial month end; P&L, Balance sheet
• Group consolidation reporting inc Fx Entity
• Providing commentary on variance analysis
• Managing intercompany transactions and consolidations
• Managing AP/AR
• Assisting with the production of the monthly board reporting
• Assisting with quarterly forecast and annual budget
• Supporting the annual external audit
• Updating MI for the Management team to review the performance of the business
• Monitoring working capital
• Managing Fixed Asset register & Capex reporting
• Producing quarterly VAT returns
• Looking for improvements in current processes

This varied, and hand's-on role offers genuine scope to add real value to this fast paced organisation and their ambitious growth plans. The Senior Financial Accountant will be an integral part of the team, and the successful candidate is likely to be ACA or ACCA Qualified with 1-2 years PQE, and a strong financial accounting skillset. Given the nature of the role and the team, the Senior Financial Accountant will be someone with is comfortable working across all areas of finance, including the more transactional elements. Candidates will be excellent communicators with an open, approachable persona.

Our Client is offering a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 DOE, and they will be looking to conduct interviews pre-Christmas.
