Senior Group Accountant

Investigo are recruiting for an exciting 12-month Group Accountant FTC for a FTSE 250 business, based in central London. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills within a progressive business and pro rata annual salary is £70,000-£80,000, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for preparation and completion of quarterly Group consolidation
• Manage the preparation and production of high-quality Group IFRS financial statements at Year-end and Interim
• Ownership, completion and delivery of all Finance inputs to quarterly Group Board packs, including continued improvements
• Prepare high quality and thorough accounting papers for all major transactions and technical accounting issues (incl. impact of new IFRS)
• Lead the annual audit and interim review process with auditors
• Lead statutory reporting process for the UK subsidiaries in the Group
• Manage direct report, including performance appraisal

Role requirements

• ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant (essential)
• Big 4 background with audit experience and exposure to medium/large clients (preferable)
• 4-5 years post-qualification experience (essential)
• 2 years industry experience (preferable)
• Exposure to Real Estate Investment companies (essential)
• Exposure to a Listed Group (preferable)
• Process driven
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
