Job Description

A market leading FTSE 100 business in Coventry are looking to bring on a Lead Java Developer to work as part of their greenfield digital and data transformation. This Lead Java Developer will be involved with leading a one of a kind software development team, while providing technical leadership and having hands on managerial experience. This role will report directly into the IT Development Manager and will be working with internal stakeholders to maximise the impact that this partner has. This role would suit somebody who wants to take the next step in their career and have a mix of hands on technical leadership as well as market leading Java development experience. The next few years with this partner are some of the most phenomenal within the Java Development world. This role will include a leading international product release, greenfield developments, data insight and leading a team of superb feature enhancements, all being hosted in AWS.

You will be involved with this partner as a key hands on Lead Java Developer, providing technical leadership to a fast growing software team where you will be working on a digital and data insight and analytic road-map that will be used to better leverage their technology for customers and make what they do the best possible service for customers. This partner is passionate about providing high quality software development, where you will be crucial within the technology team while expanding and using the newest technology available while pioneering new ways of working. This role will enable you to have the opportunity to work with cloud technologies and take your personal development to the next level.
