Senior Management Accountant

My client a FTSE employer of is Seeking a Management Accountant with strong finance business partnering skills. Below is a detailed brief on the role -

Responsibilities:

• Business Partner for corporate global functions.
• Build business models and management reporting packs.
• Preparing forecasts and annual budget, preparing decks for presentations to CEO.
• Risks and opportunities tracking, providing analysis of actual spend vs budget/ forecast.
• Supporting and influencing decision making.
• Completion and review of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Support Business Services Group (BSG) with month end tasks.
• Review and approval of P2P activities (payment review and approval).
• Interpreting complex data, producing accessible and meaningful information
• Support external auditors with their review and ensure deadlines are met.

Skills / experience and professional knowledge

• The position is suitable for an ACA/ CIMA qualified accountant.
• Being familiar with working to tight deadlines and in a demanding yet rewarding environment.
• Experienced in clear presentation of information for use and understanding by all staff, from CEO down.
• Evidence of communicating to non-finance staff would be preferable.
• Self-starter approach, highly self-motivated and eagerness to taking initiative and ownership.
• Ability to navigate smoothly within a complex global matrix organisation.
