Senior Manager Scientific Publications

A leading Pharmaceutical Company is looking for a strong scientific publications candidate to aid in the planning and implementation of publications activities.

You will be actively contributing to the execution of publication strategy and overseeing the implementation of publishing activities through appropriate journal and congress selection. You will also be leading the liaisons between the team and any third-party vendors involved in the process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the implementation and planning of all publications for assigned products including detailed collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Development of manuscripts, slides, posters and congress abstracts.
• Assist in the execution of Scientific Advisory Board meetings.
• Undertake analysis of competitors publication activity.
• Identify and advise on potential gaps in publication plans.
• Oversee and advise on internal review processes for all publication activities.

You will need the following:

• BA/BS required; science major preferable.
• c.10 years of related experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• CMPP certification desired.
• Ability to understand and analyse medical material.
