Senior Market Risk Associate

A leading Financial Services institution are looking for a Senior Market Risk Associate to join their team here in London.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure market risk exposures are measured and managed within the current limit framework
• Review model performance and ensure first line remains compliant to the Group standards;
• Ensure appropriate independent model validation processes are in place
• Actively manage Change from a Risk Perspective
• Work closely with IT to facilitate improvements in the existing infrastructure

Skills required:

• Prior experience working in Banking. Brokerage, or a Clearing House within a Risk Management Function.
• Experience within FX and/or equities would be preferable.
• Degree within Mathematics. Physics or Financial Engineering preferred.
• Advanced excel, VBA and or SQL and Python would be advantageous.
