Senior Project Manager - Insurance

Senior project manager required by a London Market Insurer. Positioned within the Business Change function the project manager will be responsible for a broad range of Business and IT projects. PM's are assigned post business case approval and are expected to clarify scope, timelines and budget during initiation and then manage projects through the full lifecycle to completion.

This is a growing change function and a real opportunity to help drive the value of what the change function can deliver into the business.

Senior Project Manager - Insurance

The successful candidate will have have a proven track record of end to end project management with a strong understanding project governance and good project management process. Stakeholder management experience (up and down) plus recent financial services (ideally insurance) experience is also key.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' managing complex, multi-dimensional projects.
  • Strong understanding of the technical challenges faced by a global business, able to understand IT analysis and risks in this business context.
  • Experienced in delivering projects in an international environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to convey crucial information on project development in a clear and engaging way.
  • Project management qualification
  • Financial Services / Insurance industry experience.
