Senior Solution Architect

A world leading university is recruiting for a Senior Solutions Architect on a permanent basis, needing a heavy understanding of Application Architecture.

Key requirements:
* Experience of delivering enterprise solutions for large organisations, with a solid background in Application Architecture and a good understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management, data modelling and master data management
* Experience of cloud transformation projects, leading design activities for migrations from legacy on-premise systems to SaaS and PaaS delivery model
* Experience of working within the Higher Education sector, with an awareness of its objectives and functions will be an advantage
* Leading design activities across complex business functions with multiple stakeholders with demonstrable experience in
* Understanding the business context, discovering and analysing requirements
* Identifying and assessing alternative solutions
* Creating artefacts and high level designs aligning to organisational strategies and the enterprise future-state architecture vision
* Implementation governance
* Qualifications within TOGAF or equivalent framework is advantageous, however candidates must demonstrate experience with applying industry frameworks to their practice whether or not they have formal qualifications
* Self-motivated and dynamic, and able to engage, challenge and influence others with a track record of developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships across IT and the wider institution
