Job Title: Service and Release Analyst
Duties: The primary duty of this role is to provide overall governance and assurance for the Bank's Digital Release Process. This will be achieved through:

  • Candidates must have 3-5 years' experience in a Release Management or similar technical implementation role We would also like candidates to have Agile/ Project Management qualifications, however these are not a necessity for this role.
  • Reviewing Release notes and providing Quality Assurance checks on all requested deployments
  • Co-ordinating and facilitating deployment of code into Non-Prod test environments
  • Managing multiple stakeholder teams during complex technical implementations
  • Creating and executing implementation plans for small, medium and large-scale releases
  • Providing concise and accurate Updates to senior stakeholders (verbally & written)
  • Providing guidance and assurance to delivery teams on process best practice Identifying opportunities for process improvements

Skills: In order to be successful in this role, applicants must be able to showcase a positive and proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail.

Candidates must also have the following:

  • Proven experience in Release Management/ technical implementations.
  • An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • The ability to plan and co-ordinate technical deployments on large/medium/small scale projects Previous exposure to configuration management and change management processes.
  • Proven ability to motivate and influence people across both business and technology domains.
  • Experience in communicating key project updates to senior stakeholders.
  • A proven ability in problem solving alongside ability to identify, improve and automate processes.
  • A flexible and proven ability to successfully deliver agreed project outcomes within a project environment.
  • Experience in using enterprise grade requirement management solutions such as Jira.
  • Experience with automated build systems, specifically- Jenkins, GoCD Knowledge of methodologies & frameworks, specifically- Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc.
