Service Charge Accountant - Chiswick

Investigo is partnering with an independent West End based real estate firm recruiting this opportunity for an experienced Service Charge Accountant looking for a chance to join a fun-loving team and manage an impressive commercial portfolio. Role is based in Chiswick so you must be able to travel her daily.

The day to day duties will include:

• Preparation and submission of client statements, VAT reports, trial balances, general ledgers and client reports
• Prepare completion statements based on details provided by Property Managers and Asset Managers and running reports off the system
• Raising rent, service charges, insurance and recharged or ad hoc charges to tenants
• Raising and payment of void unit service charge liabilities for the client
• Entering service charge budgets onto the system and updating apportionments and tenants on account
• Preparation and reconciliation of annual service charge accounts as well as liaising with the property manager, centre manager and service charge auditor for the audit
• Payover to the client in line with agreed procedures as well as record on the system
• Preparation and reconciliation of funding requests to client
• Monthly reconciliation of client bank accounts including investigation and correction of reconciling items

• Minimum 12 months Service charge experience with solid property/real estate knowledge
• Client facing experience ideal
• Must have service charge to trial balance experience
