Investigo have partnered with a not for profit organisation to support them with the recruitment of a Service Charge Officer position covering 12-18 months maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for experience so they can progress their career.

Our client is looking for someone who has worked within a housing organisation and understands service charges that apply to apartments and new build estates.

Key Responsibilities

* Continuously reviewing processes and procedures and working with the Service Charge Team Leader and the Rent and Service Charge manager to move the team forward.

* To deliver excellent service to the rest of the organisation, working with colleagues to ensure customers receive a value for money service.

* To ensure that income is maximised by ensuring that service charge billing is accurate.

* To provide technical advice on Fixed and Variable service charges to colleagues within the organisation and all customer bases.

Skills Required

  • Excellent numeracy skills and an ability to understand, analyse and manipulate information and data. Advance level of excel knowledge is required.
  • Excellent IT skills with proven ability to use Finance Systems, Microsoft applications, particularly advanced use of Excel and other software packages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to meet agreed outcomes.
  • Finance or Housing/Property experience.
  • Service charge experience.
  • Strong communication skills
