Software Development Manager (.Net Technology)

Location: Leeds or Leicester, hybrid working with the ideal candidate spending one day a week in either Leeds or Leicester

Salary & Benefits: to £60,000 p/a plus a range of benefits inc. cash car allowance (circa £6k), bonus (to 15%), holidays, great pension, health, and a variety of bespoke benefits that you can tailor to you - total package in excess of £70k

A long standing Investigo customer are looking for a Software Development Manager to join the largest technical transformation they have gone through. You'll lead a combination of teams that are in-house, on, near and offshore to continue delivery best in class software application delivery for their e-commerce arm.

Whilst this isn't a hands-on technical role, you'll work closely with teams across the business, architects, product/projects and a variety of stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition between platforms - this includes both re-platforming, greenfield developments and a number of enhancement projects over the next 12-18 months. Your role will also include the chance to influence the longer term tech strategy and build out new capabilities for customers alongside the business.

Technology is.Net and Microsoft stack led; your team will work across C# .Net (a mix of ASP.Net and .Net Core), SQL Server, Azure, etc.

Skills

• A background of leading both internal and on, near and offshore teams in collaboration;
• Leading teams working on applications built SaaS / PaaS;
• Previous hands-on experience as a developer/engineer (preferably .Net);
• Experienced working in in both Agile and Waterfall.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £60,000 p/a plus a range of benefits inc. cash car allowance (circa £6k), bonus (to 15%), holidays, great pension, health, and a variety of bespoke benefits that you can tailor to you - total package in excess of £70k. This role can be worked in a hybrid fashion from anywhere in the UK, with an expectation of one day per week in either Leeds or Leicester.
