Supply Chain Business Partner

Nottinghamshire client is looking to appoint an interim Supply Chain Business Partner for an initial 6 month commitment. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a well known and successful retail brand. The key responsibilities of this role are to be providie effective insight and challenge on all factors of performance for the production and distribution channels for this well known brand.

Key responsibilities:

• Influence key decisions within the business using robust financial data and challenging key stakeholders using this data to allow the right commercial decisions to be made
• Manage the costs both actual and forecasting
• Manage the month end accounting process working closely with management accounts team
• Own the budget and forecasting reporting on all variances
• Production of KPI's and overall tracking of all financial performance
• Working with operations teams and key stakeholders to assist in effective commercial decision making

The successful candidate will need to have experience in a similar role and have solid understanding of the supply chain process and overall operations and labour costs. You will be a confident individual who is able to challenge stakeholders within the business using your robust financial data to back up your reasoning. This is a 6 month commitment and inside IR35 which the client is ideally looking to recruit on a fixed term contract basis.
