Systems Accountant

Company overview:

My client is a well-recognised private Media brand based in Central London, operating within the Events & Music Publishing space.

Role:

Having started the implementation SAP Business One at the start of 2019, they are looking to go live with the system in March 2020. They are now looking for a Systems Accountant to come in on an initial 3 month contract to support the Head of Finance on the final stages of the implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for initiating the financial accounting systems process reviews.
• Manage the implementation of new developments for SAP Business One.
• Manage user access to the financial systems, including providing training on the system when necessary.
• Form a user manual, through testing the processes and keeping meticulous notes.
• Write test scripts to see how the financial processes interact with the system.

Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Strong understanding of best practice for management/financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business One (absolutely crucial), previous experience implementing it is desirable.
• Able to use the Excel reporting and interactive analysis tool within SAP Business One.
