Technical Architect

I have a 6 month contract available for a Technical Architect to define and own the Technical strategy of digital products/services within a greenfield project. Experience of Agile Development in Ruby/ Python/ JavaScript and their associated frameworks. The successful applicant will have practical working knowledge of modern cloud first architectures and be able to create applications to take advantage of the opportunities they offer.

This is fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful development team. I am looking for a Technical Architect that has a strong understanding of a broad range of technologies and can translate between non technical stakeholders and technical practitioners.

Responsibilities:

- Define the high level Architecture within Digital platforms, products and services

- Work with Software Engineers and mentor Junior Colleagues

- Own and manage relationships- Technical and Non-Technical Stakeholders

- Work with the Agile Product Teams to lead the set up of developer tooling, work flow and pipelines.

Skills:

- Technical background of one or all of the following languages: Ruby/ Python/ JavaScript.

- Extensive background in version control with Git.

- Introducing practices such as TDD, contiguous integration/delivery and DevOps
