Technical Project Manager (Software/Cloud) - Contract, Outside IR35, February Start

Location & Duration: Remote with occasional visits into London; once or twice a month - 6 months initially

Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - to £600 per day

A long standing Investigo customer are looking for a Software Project Manager to join them on an interim basis for the next 6 months. You'll lead a technology critical project and work with a skilled dispersed team (spread across 3 time zones) in what is there biggest transformation to date; following a successful go live they are now looking to optimise a market leading product, this will involve a combination of small to large scale concurrent projects varying from feature enhancements, building and tweaking alongside the completion of an ongoing re-platforming of existing applications into a reusable, scalable and secure tech stack driven by AWS - experience delivering this type of cloud transformation is essential.

Functional expertise and a successful track record of working with software development/engineering teams is key, particularly someone who has previously delivered in a very tech focused and fast paced or SME environment. The role is fully remote with occasional visits into London; once or twice a month maximum.

Skills

• A background of delivering critical technical software driven projects in a fast paced and evolving businesses - ideally within smaller SMEs or tech driven organisations
• Ability to engage highly skilled engineering teams through large scale software development projects and be the comms conduit between tech and non-tech
• Great communication skills, engaging a multitude of stakeholders from engineer level to CxO
• The ability to simplify problems and come up with long term solutions
• A thorough technical understanding and a (ideally) hands-on background rolling your sleeves up; preferably in a hands-on role building cloud applications
• Experienced working with teams spread across multiple locations and time zones

This is an outside IR35 engagement with a day rate on offer of up to £600 per day. Initial contract duration will be 6 months, the process will be submissions no later than Friday 28th January with interviews taking place the following week and commencing no later than Monday 7th February - therefore an immediate start is essential.
