Technical Project Manager - Technology Change & Process

Location & Duration: Remote with occasional trip to London, once every 2-3 weeks - 6 months initially

Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - to £550 per day

A long standing Investigo customer are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a focus on change and pulling together/defining new processes on an interim basis. You'll join at a time of large scale transformation and where the existing processes aren't working as they need to, for this reason they are keen to engage a specialist consultant to work with their skilled multi-location team to define new process and procedure; you'll be joining at a time where their largest tech/application build that will involve greenfield builds and re-platforming existing applications into a scalable and secure tech stack driven by AWS. Your role in this will be to guide and roll out new processes to better improve delivery within the business.

Functional tech expertise and understanding is key, particularly someone who has Software Delivery/Development background to plug into the team re-building the tech stack, but Business Technology, Process and fast paced Change experience is more important. This role will be outside IR35 and majority remote with 1-2 days per month travelling to hybrid working space in London.

Skills

• Hands-on background as a PM delivering large scale business technology change and process restructure and rollout in a fast-paced SME
• Experienced working with a buy versus build model and integrating buy software into an existing platform
• Someone who has brought rigour to re-building historical processes and rolling them out across a global team and managed projects across different time zones
• Someone who can quickly digest existing processes and put quick/effective changes in place

Any experience of re-building an entire business process and documenting for a small but fast paced SME would be advantageous.

This is an outside IR35 engagement with a day rate on offer of up to £550 per day. Initial contract duration will be 6 months, the process will be submissions no later than Thursday 4th November with interviews taking place either Friday 5th, Monday 8th or Tuesday 9th - therefore an immediate start is preferred.
