Technical Release Manager - SC Cleared Environment

Technical Release Manager - working on a major government programme in a matrix supplier environment of internal teams, 3rd party SIs and Consultancies. We are seeking someone with a good technical understanding, ideally from a Systems Admin (Linux/RHEL) or DevOps background.

Outside IR35
Current SC Clearance is essential to meet deployment deadline.

Job Summary

• Lead the change advisory board, ensuring adequate risk assessment and scheduling of technical changes and releases.
• Responsible for configuration management database (CMDB), access, security, configuration of change activities and release procedures.
• Documentation of Environment Management processes and Release Implementation Management Processes in line with ITIL standards
• Management of all Environments through the programme life-cycle to production alongside relevant delivery teams both internal and external
• Planning & Communication of Implementation Code Deployment between environments
• Management of deployment tasks working alongside Software engineers to actually move the code
• Working closely with stakeholders to identify, challenge and agree the scope and critical purpose of environments
• Management of relevant risks and issues including identification of escalation points
• Engagement with all relevant stakeholders ensuring effective involvement in the project life cycle including project reporting
