Test Analyst

Test Analyst / Azure DevOps / Selenium / Insurance / London

Our client a London based software organisation has a requirement for a permanent Test Analyst to join the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of our client's organisation and market.
• Documenting test requirements and user stories from specifications and discussion.
• Review and feedback on Business requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Create, document and execute automated testpacks to enhance regression and early deployment testing.
• Working with the Client Services team to ensure testing efforts and outcomes are documented and agreed with the customer up front.
• Review and feedback on Use cases/use stories used to author tests, evidencing outcomes.
• Communicates effectively with all internal stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Act as a bridge between the internal development team and the Client Services team and, where required, liaise directly with customers testing teams.

Experience / Requirements:

• Excellent communications skills., both written and verbal
• Automated testing experience including developing automated tests in a .net environment with HTML front end testing.
• Use of Azure DevOps (formally Team Foundation Server) and Selenium, specifically:
• Isolation, replication and reporting of defects.
• Manual test experience.
• Web Testing experience both front end and back end.
• Good stakeholder management experience.
• Use of Azure DevOps and Selenium
• Able to evidence a Continuous Improvement mindset.

Desirable Skills:

• Performance testing.
• Release management including code branching and reporting.
• Any experience of working with any of the following XML /DRI /ACORD Standards/ B2B message processing.
• London Market Insurance experience
