Test Manager // AZURE DEVOPS // QA // London Market // Insurance

A London Market Insurer has a requirement for a Quality Assurance Lead to join their London based Change Function.

Key Responsibilities:

• System analysis/Integration test and UAT, fully capable of assisting and supporting the team, BA and business in defining the scope for test requirements across the SDLC
• Proven line management of other QA's
• Experience creating a test function for all SDLC test activities
• Understanding of QA Industry standard tools and approaches, ability to implement within your SCRUM team(s)
• Translating the project/product requirements into technical specifications and developing the test artefacts
• Third party engagement / management
• Ability to manage the end-to-end test lifecycle i.e. test scripts, test set up requirements, execution, defect management, reporting and traceability across QA and UAT

Experience and Technical Competencies

• Experience in working with Test Management tools - Azure Devops /VSTS, MTM, TFS, Jira
• Selenium Web driver, Specflow and VSTS
• BDD test automation frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin)
• Testing experience of C#, PHP, Java and .net
• SQL experience
• 5+ years of Test Analysis experience
• 3+ years working as at least Snr Test Analyst/QA Engineer across a number of programs including all key test phases (desirable)
• Experience of working in Waterfall, Agile and custom testing approaches/models
• Design, review and execute test suites
• Experience with Test management, Change management and defect triage
• Understanding of SDLC and test lifecycle
• Skilled in the testing techniques required to drive out test conditions from key documents that form the test basis across QA, UAT, Post Prod
• High standards of confidentiality, ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and trust
• ISTQB or similar test qualification is preferable
