Trade Credit - Functional/UAT Test Analyst - Inside IR35

Key Activities:

  • Understand design for Trade Credit systems & processes
  • Write test cases to ensure thorough testing of TC systems and processes
  • Produce test scripts
  • Perform functional and UAT testing
  • Help to coordinate UAT (business) testing
  • Assist business users during UAT testing
  • Report on defects
  • Report on test progress
  • Report on overall system fitness for purpose/implementation

Requirements:

  • Test creation and execution
  • Business process analysis
  • Testing methodologies
  • Experience of Rally
  • Experience of JIRA
  • Good knowledge of Credit lines products (Trade Credit)
  • Six Sigma qualification would be an advantage
  • 3-5 years' experience in testing, process change and/or business analyst role
  • Detailed understanding of end to end underwriting and claims process
  • Strong Excel, Visio and PowerPoint capabilities

Responsibilities:

  • To review user requirements, design documents, user stories and user guides and perform functional testing to ensure delivered software/systems meet the design/requirements/specifications
  • Strong liaison with Business Design team to ensure understanding of requirements
  • Define test strategies
  • Define test cases
  • Define (repeatable) test scripts to ensure software/systems meet requirements
  • Undertake functional testing per created test scripts
  • Create defects with appropriate classifications
  • Liaison with relevant build teams (internal / external) to describe the defect
  • Monitor test progress against plans
  • Monitor defect status
  • Report on fitness of delivery for each release
  • Work with key business resources and business design team to create end to end (UAT) test scripts
  • Work with key business resources to undertake end to end UAT tests
  • Create UAT defects with appropriate classifications
  • Liaison with relevant build teams (internal / external) to describe the defect
  • Monitor UAT test progress against plans
  • Monitor UAT defect status
  • Report on fitness for implementation
