UK Financial Controller

Investigo are delighted to be supporting a well respected, and highly recognisable business with their recruitment of a UK Financial Controller, on a permanent basis.

Based in their Bedford based UK Headquarters, and reporting to UK Finance Director this role's key purpose is to develop and lead all aspects of strategy for financial services, risk, control, accounting & reporting. The UK Financial Controller will engage at all levels and lead change, efficiency and improvement initiatives, including finance processes and working capital.
They will lead and develop a large team of over 50 people with 5 direct reports covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, and the Accounting & Reporting team delivering outputs to the highest standards The role will play a key part in building the finance talent pipeline, and the UK Financial Controller will form a collaborative partnership with the UK Finance Director and Head of Commercial Finance to create and deliver the vision for the wider finance function.

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with upward of 8 years PQE, and someone who is currently operating as an FC or Head of Finance. They will possess demonstrable experience of driving strong financial controls, and process improvement, as well as first class communication skills and a proven ability to lead and develop a large team.

Our Client is offered a package of £75,000 - £85,000 + Car/Allowance + Attractive Bonus and Benefits.
