US GAAP Reporting Manager

A leading International Media business based in central London is currently looking to recruit a Group Reporting Manager. The role holder will need to be able to work in a fast paced dynamic organisation. This role will support the business through both the International Reporting but also supporting the parent company in the US. This role has significant exposure to the C-Suite and will be expected to interact with global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include;

• Responsible for the consolidation of the International entities (20+)
• Review the work of the team (3 qualified Accountants) in regards to financial reporting and technical papers
• Provide timely flash reports to the US head office
• Support the US Fillings (10-K & 10-Q)
• Support the International CFOs on a range of topics regarding technical or commercial issues
• Work closely with HR on rewards, compensations etc.
• Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process for the head office corporate costs (HR / IT / Legal etc)
• Driving efficiency's where possible
• Key projects include - Business Intelligence, systems & adhoc projects

The successful candidate

• Qualified Accountant with Group Finance experience
• US GAAP experience is essential (either from Audit or Industry)
• Strong academic background
• Experience working with a multi-national business
• Strong communication skills
