VP Sales (North America)
Ambitious, well-funded Health tech start-up seeks a VP of Sales / Business Development to increase brand-awareness, adoption and market-share here in the US for their novel medical education platform.
The platform is already being used to great effect by leading Medical Associations, Medical Education Co's, and Pharma and Biotech Co's. There is a huge opportunity to increase distribution across the country, open new doors, and effectively demonstrate the USP's and value proposition of these exciting tools that help improve lives through better clinical decision making.
We are looking for somebody capable of partnering with medical education providers, as well as somebody that can demonstrate a capability and readiness to engage Commercial Pharma and Biotech teams. You'll be tasked to create a robust national US sales plan, map the market(s), and provide an effective partnership plan to execute against.
Working directly with the CEO, you must be comfortable and ready to work in a start-up environment, being the first person on the ground in North America, as you grow the sales function. You will need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats and work with autonomy and high levels of proactivity. You will need to build an infrastructure, and be able to build, scale, track and forecast, and will be given the opportunity to build a team around you.
The VP of Sales / Business Development should be able to demonstrate revenue generation selling solutions into the med ed and/or Pharma sector, and have an entrepreneurial l instinct, as well as a scientific understanding in order to build have credibility in the healthcare / medical / pharma industry.
