HRIS Lead

(Workday Lead)

£80,000 - £100,000 + Package

Our global HR team supports 18+ countries and 2,000+ employees across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. As a member of the internal Human Resources Team, the HRIS Lead will focus on managing the planning, implementation, operations/support, and maintenance of numerous HR technologies used by the department. This position serves as the expert working on translating our needs to the technical team. You will work closely with other subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, system changes, report writing, and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities. The position is located in the US or Europe; and can be located remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and direction on the operation and maintenance of the HR data systems, including Workday, ADP, Bamboo, and local recruitment or payroll systems.
  • Work closely with the HR team to administer and support all HR system technologies and enhancements that improve HR operational efficiency and effectiveness in support of the business.
  • Provide support for the Workday implementation in Americas, Asia-Pacific & Europe regions.
  • Serve as the Workday subject-matter expert with an understanding of core HR functionalities, including recruiting, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with the global HR & IT partners in requirement gathering, solution architecture, and implementation in HR systems to meet the needs of the rapidly growing business.
  • Translate business requirements into creative and effective technical/functional designs with scalable systems architecture in mind, then drive the implementation of those solutions from end to end.
  • Support the configuration, integration, and maintenance of our HR systems ecosystem, including (legacy systems).
  • Perform configuration and administration of Workday core business processes, security maintenance, data loads, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Uphold the integrity and comprehension of our human capital related data and oversee and improve our reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Promote and establish standard methodologies in business systems analysis, holistic design, and testing to ensure the team provides outstanding quality work that meets compliance needs.
  • Assist with projects such as data workflow management, retiring legacy people systems, and the implementation and training of new system management and design.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance: Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of Workday system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of upgrades or fix. Maintain system tables. Document process and results.
  • Production Support: Provide support for the Workday system, including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Liaison with third parties and other stakeholders.
  • Projects/Process Improvement: Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and/or significant variations from established policy.
  • Use project management skills and project management software in managing projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on HRIS implementation, configuration, and maintenance experience.
  • Required proficiency in Workday; one or more modules HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Recruitment, Talent, etc.
  • Workday report writing experience and strong functional understanding of the data architecture within Workday.
  • Critical problem solver with solid experience in change management.
  • Strong project management skills including an excellent ability to organize work and set priorities for accomplishing work in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proven experience developing, testing, and analyzing HR software.
  • Excellent ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate on complex issues with a high level of effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills; proven 'customer service' skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees across the firm.
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and maintain a high level of trust and integrity to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Ability to occasionally support global HR partners in different time zones.
